Tickets on sale for Chester clash

Tickets are now on sale for the big home clash against Chester on Saturday 30 November.

Last season’s meeting at the Cal.Delivery Stadium attracted a sold-out, season-high attendance of 2,000 on New Year’s Day, while works were ongoing with the development of the new away end - it was also a record crowd for a regular season league game at the ground.

It could have been more but for the limitations caused by the development work, so with ground capacity now increased to 3,094 since the summer, we hope to make the game as accessible to many fans of both clubs as possible.

Per police requirements, the game will be segregated.

As a result, a total of 900 tickets are being made available to Chester fans, who will be situated in the new away end, the Bilfinger Stand, and on the terrace along the canal side of the ground towards the 3G pitch.

These can now be bought online here - available at £13 for adults, £9 for concessions and £3 for juniors (plus £1 booking fee per transaction).

Chester’s first-ever game was held at Cantilever Park back in August 2010, ending in a 1-1 draw in front of a crowd just shy of 1,500.

Yellows manager Paul Carden made more than 150 appearances for Chester City in three separate spells during his playing career.

Their squad includes former Yellows striker Tom Peers (8 apps, 2016), while both Iwan Murray (3 apps, 2019) and Dylan Mottley-Henry, who featured for the Yellows last season, have had spells on loan at the club.

Andy’s Man Club, the men’s mental health support group who hold drop in sessions every Monday at 7pm at the ground, will have a stall at the game and will be bucket collecting at the game to raise funds for their work.

The match will be sponsored by Lumisi, the global brand agency who have this season become dugouts sponsor of Warrington Town.
