The latest new arrival at Warrington Town ahead of the 2026/27 season is midfielder Bobby Bjork from Lancaster City.
The 21-year-old former Blackpool youngster made 35 appearances in the Northern Premier League last season.
Bjork said: “I spoke to Cards and I liked what I heard. It was a tough decision to leave Lancaster, but I thought as an individual this would be a good move.
“I like to get up and down the pitch, I’ve got a good engine. I didn’t score as many goals as I’d like to last season, but I think this season my aim is to get in to the attacking box a bit more.
“I’ve enjoyed playing at this level, I love my football, so hopefully I can keep kicking on, keep learning and keep getting better.”
Bjork played at Cantilever Park for Lancaster last season, when the Dolly Blues were top of the league table and were beaten 3-2 by the Yellows.
He joins fellow midfielder Lewis Earl, winger Jack Goodwin and defender Alex McNally as the new faces signed so far by manager Paul Carden for the new season, which gets underway on August 8.
Carden said: “He’s someone who has been of interest for some time, and I think Bobby’s strength and energy is really good.
He’s an infectious character, he’s a bright lad. We need that type of player who’s going to give us strength and be able to cover the ground box to box, and he’s got that in abundance.
“He’s got a good physical build and he pops up with important goals. The challenge for him is to improve on his goals tally.”
The first chance to see Bjork in a Warrington Town shirt will be during the pre-season campaign, which begins with a trip to Widnes Town on July 11.
