Warrington Town have signed defender Aaron James from Wrexham on loan until the end of the season.
James, 19, signed his first professional contract with the Welsh club at the age of 16 and made his Football League debut in 2023. This season he has featured three times in the EFL Trophy, scoring the winner in the knockout round win over Crewe.
A former youth-team captain, James was part of the Wrexham pre-season tour of the USA last year.
The centre-back comes in following the hamstring injury suffered by Peter Clarke at the weekend, which will be assessed again at training tonight.
James will be available to make his debut against Scunthorpe United on Saturday in our first home league game in more than a month.
