Women's player Chloe Green taking on charity fundraiser throughout February

Chloe Green, who plays for Warrington Town Women, is currently undertaking a charity fundraiser throughout February.

For the fifth year running, Chloe and friends have taken on the challenge of running/walking two miles a day, every day in February, in memory of her friend Georgia.

On a personal level, Chloe is covering four miles per day throughout the challenge - two for her and two for Georgia.

This year, all proceeds from the challenge will go to Claire House Children's Hospice, who offer specialist nursing and end-of-life care.

Discussing the challenge, she said: "Georgia was a beautiful, loving and caring young woman who was taken from us far too soon.

"So in her memory, we’re putting our walking boots/running shoes on again! This year, all proceeds of this run will go to the Claire House who were wonderful, and looked after George so well.

"Please, if you can spare any money at all, please consider sponsoring us.

"It really would mean a lot to everyone. Georgia is much loved, and will always be remembered."
