Women's Football Pyramid allocations confirmed for 2025/26 season

The FA have released the league allocations for the Women’s Football Pyramid for the 2025/26 season.

Warrington Town Women will remain in the North West Regional Football League D1 South, which sits at tier 6 of the pyramid.

There will now be 10 teams in the division following a re-structure, including four new opponents for the Yellows - AFC Crewe, Altrincham, Manchester Laces and Nantwich Town.

The other five teams are Chester, Ellesmere Port Town, Macclesfield, Runcorn Linnets and Wirral Phoenix.

Home games for the women this season will be played at the Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub.

Sophie McDonald’s side finished the 2024/25 season on a three-match unbeaten run, including a crucial 2-1 win over Runcorn Linnets.
