A team of Sky engineers descended on the Cal.Delivery Stadium this week to help out with jobs around the ground, as part of their volunteering programme.
Each year, thousands of Sky volunteers give their time and energy to support good causes in their local community, and Warrington Town were a recipient this week.
The team provided invaluable help in getting some much needed jobs done around the ground.
Yellows fan Elliot Kehoe, who works for Sky, said: “Twice a year at Sky, we have a help the community day, and this year I was making sure it was helping my favourite place in the world: Warrington Town FC.
"17 sky engineers all came together to help the club with jobs around the ground, including moving the pitch covers to behind the shed, removing moss around the perimeter of the pitch and applying wood treatment to the snack bar behind the away end.”
The work comes with the club in the midst of four consecutive home games, which started with wins over Guiseley and Tranmere Rovers.
This Saturday, Lancaster City are the visitors before we welcome Ashton United on Tuesday night.
