Preview: Warrington Town vs Rushall Olympic

Warrington Town welcome Rushall Olympic to the Cal.Delivery Stadium this evening for more Northern Premier League action.

With just one win under their belt this season, the Yellows will be aiming to put in a performance that will kick-start their campaign against one of the division's early front-runners.

The two sides last met in March earlier this year, when both teams were battling for survival in the National League North. Paul Carden's side emerged triumphant with a 2-0 victory over the Pics.

Below, we've compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.

New signings Mark Isong, Jonas Mukuna and Aaron Pickles all featured in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Gainsborough Trinity, with Pickles playing for the full duration of the clash.

Isong and Mukuna will go into contention to make their first start for the Yellows this evening.

Paul Carden preview

Paul Carden has warned that his side must change their mindset after suffering yet another defeat in the league this season.

In a game of very few chances away at Gainsborough Trinity, goals either side of the half-time interval for the hosts condemned the Yellows to their third successive loss in all competitions.

With new faces coming into the squad, and with no training time in between fixtures, Carden believes that his side must keep going if they are to find a way out of their current situation.

"We should be looking at a 0-0 and taking a point on the way home," Carden said following Saturday's defeat at Gainsborough.

"We said after the game, teams aren't really ripping us apart. You look at the goals last week against Bamber Bridge, they're all our doing.

"And it's a mindset thing - it's a feeling sorry for ourselves thing, and we've got to snap out of it.

"There's games coming, obviously a big game on Tuesday at home, and we've got to get it right. We don't train in that time, but there will be reminders, messages and conversations with the players.

"We've got to be positive, we've got to go again. We've got a chance to bounce back, to kick-start the season.

"We've added a few players to the squad who need time - none of them have trained this week. We haven't had the chance to integrate them into what we're trying to do and how we try to play, so obviously, that will come in time."
