Warrington Town winger Matt Grivosti feels that the late point earned away at Chorley will spur the side on ahead of this weekend’s trip to Radcliffe.
The Yellows drew 1-1 last time out thanks to a Connor Woods penalty deep into second half stoppage time.
It meant that Paul Carden’s first game back in the Warrington Town dugout ended positively, taking a point away from home against a side many expect to be fighting for promotion at the business end of the season.
Grivosti admits that playing away against top sides in the division gives the players added confidence to cause an upset.

The 21-year-old said: “We do look forward to these games. Chorley had a nice pitch and that gives you confidence playing on it. It’s one of the perks of this league.
“It was definitely a good result for the group, and a decent performance too. The mission now is to take that confidence into the Radcliffe game.”
Last Saturday marked two weeks since Paul Carden was announced as Town’s new manager.
Grivosti was signed by, and previously played under Carden during the 2021/22 season, before his departure to AFC Telford United.
Adjusting to a new manager can be difficult, but Grivosti credited Carden’s approach and believes there was an improvement in performance against Chorley.
“I think the impact is in how he approached the game,” he said.
“Cards hasn’t made any drastic changes or huge decisions, which keeps us steady and should allow us to push on.
“We know where we need to improve, and we’re working on that.”
Grivosti knows that there’s plenty for him to learn this season as he continues to grow accustomed to the challenge of the National League North.
He has also been asked to play in an unfamiliar position in recent days, featuring at right-back in each of the last four games.
It’s a tough task, but one that Grivosti is willing to tackle head on.
“I’m definitely learning. Every game I pick up something new, and there’s always a new challenge to learn from.
“Evan Gumbs helps massively too. Having someone like him next to me, with his quality and experience, makes you comfortable.
“I just try to learn from every game and improve on the last performance.”
Up next for the Yellows is a trip to newly-promoted Radcliffe and the Neuven Stadium.

Radcliffe are currently without a win in the league this season, with their only victory in all competitions coming at the Cal.Delivery Stadium in the FA Cup second qualifying round last month.
Town, meanwhile, will have an opportunity to pick up their first win since the 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers, and put an end to a current four-game run of 1-1 draws in the league.
Looking ahead to the fixture, Grivosti said: “We know how important our position in the league is, so that should motivate us enough to get three points.
“Adding in the manner of the defeat [in the FA Cup], it’s something you remember and it makes us work that little bit harder to get the three points.”
