Joe Rodwell-Grant returns on loan

Joe Rodwell-Grant has returned to Warrington Town on loan from Curzon Ashton.

Rodwell-Grant, 23, made 43 appearances for the Yellows last season and was offered the opportunity to stay in the summer, but opted to stay in the National League North with Curzon Ashton, where he has played 17 games this season.

He ended last season strongly playing on the right wing, having been deployed as a central striker earlier in the campaign, scoring the winner in the 1-0 win at home to Buxton.

Discussions to bring him back to the Cal.Delivery Stadium had started prior to the departure of loanee Niall Watson, as Paul Carden continues to look for further options in his squad.

Rodwell-Grant has signed in time to go in to consideration for Satuday’s trip to Rushall Olympic.

Meanwhile, Dontai Gabidon's loan spell concludes following tomorrow's game and he will be returning to Macclesfield.
