Jack Banister reflects on his time with the Yellows so far, and explains how much manager Paul Carden believes in his squad.
Banister joined the club from National League North side Curzon Ashton on dual registration last month, and has enjoyed a handful of wins with the club including a 4-1 victory over Hyde United at Cantilever Park.
The winger was recruited by Carden to help with injuries to Jack Dunn and Josh Amis and to add strength to the attack and an extra option going forward.
“Ever since I have joined I can feel how much the gaffer believes in not just myself, but the entire squad which really helps the team perform,” said Banister.
“It gets all of the lads together which makes it a great group to be in.
“It’s been great so far. I have felt welcomed from all the lads and the staff since I have joined and we have picked up some good results during my time so hopefully that can continue.”

The Yellows currently sit fourth in the BetVictor NPL Premier Division table, with a game in hand over table toppers South Shields.
In the league, the side have claimed six points out of a possible nine in the last three fixtures, with wins over Stafford Rangers and the Tigers.
“I can’t talk for earlier in the season as I wasn’t here, but it seems we are picking up some good momentum into an important part of the season, which hopefully we can carry on pushing up the table,” Banister said.
“Across the squad there’s a good balance and quite a few experienced lads which the likes of myself and some of the younger ones can learn a lot from, not just footballing but attitude as well.
On playing at Cantilever Park, he added: “It’s been a bit odd really, as since I have joined every game has been at home, so I’ve quickly got used to playing here now.
“It feels great when we are getting results and the place is buzzing.”
Warrington Town face Mickleover Sports in the Premier Division this Saturday, and return to Cantilever Park on November 30. Tickets are available online now.
