Warrington Town can confirm the loan signing of young Port Vale attacking midfielder Liam Brazier, another who has spent pre-season training and playing for the Yellows.
Brazier, 18, is a highly-rated player who made his Port Vale first team debut at the age of 16 and was even linked with a move to German giants Borussia Dortmund.
He has impressed fans with his quality and work rate during the pre-season programme, where he has featured as Trialist B, training with the Yellows as well as with Port Vale during the day.
Able to play across the attacking midfield positions, Brazier has had some previous experience in the Northern Premier League, featuring for Stafford Rangers last season on loan.
Manager Paul Carden said: “I know his coach, and he called me up and said, 'Look, we’ve got a lad who featured in our first team a couple of years ago and he’s had an injury, but we think a lot of him'.
"He’s full of running, he’s direct, and he’s got a bit of grit about him, and he can be a threat.
"It’s important to make sure we’ve got not just cover, but competition in different positions. I think Liam will be a good option for us, and he'll give us versatility on either flank.
"One thing's for sure, he doesn’t shirk work."
The arrival of Brazier follows on from the announcement that Dontai Gabidon, Troy Bourne and Matthew Tweedley have all penned deals for the 2025/26 season, ahead of the opening day visit of Cleethorpes Town on August 9.
