The following players have departed the club:
The club would like to pay special tribute to two of the departing players who have been long-serving and key parts of the success of Warrington Town in recent years.
Jay Harris made his debut against Matlock Town in 2021 and went on to make 170 appearances for the Yellows, scoring nine goals.
His tenacity, leadership and energy in midfield helped drive the club to the play-off final in his first season, and then onwards to promotion the following year.
Boasting vast experience in the Football League from earlier in his career with Accrington, Chester, Wrexham, Tranmere and Macclesfield, Harris turned 39 last month.
Aside from a spell sidelined through injury during the first season in the National League North, he has been a regular in his five seasons with the club.
Bohan Dixon, who played his final game back in November, is a bonafide modern-day legend of the club, and only five players have made more appearances than his 247 in the modern era.
Now 36, he made his debut back in 2018 and was part of two victorious Northern Premier League play-off winning teams, playing 46 times in the 2022/23 campaign.
Although he briefly left the club in 2024 for a short spell at Macclesfield, he returned later that summer and was a regular in the National League North.
A cult hero for many fans, young and old, his presence on and off the pitch is certainly missed.
The club would like to thank the other departing players also for their efforts, and wish them all the best for the future.
