Warrington Town can provide an update on the squad following the end of the 2023/24 campaign as we look ahead to our second season in the National League North.
The retained list includes recently crowned Player of the Year Connor Woods and Fans’ Player of the Year Dan Atherton, while experienced midfielder Jay Harris will make his 100th Yellows appearance the next time he takes to the field.
Skipper Josh Amis is due to undergo shoulder surgery over the summer that will likely rule him out of the early part of the season.
Negotiations have been ongoing with top scorer Isaac Buckley-Ricketts for the past few months, though as with Andre Wisdom, the club respects a player’s desire to play full-time football higher up the pyramid if the opportunity arises.
Manager Mark Beesley is working hard to identify new signings to add to the squad within the budget constraints.
