Ticket information for New Year’s Day home game against Chester

Warrington Town can now confirm arrangements for the home game against Chester FC on New Year’s Day.

The game at the UNIS Compliance Stadium will be all-ticket, with segregation at the request of the authorities and a reduced capacity of 2,000.

An allocation of 400 tickets has been made available to Chester to sell to away fans. No tickets for away fans will be available to purchase via Warrington Town FC, either in person or via the club website.

Season tickets are valid for the game as usual. Match tickets will go on sale to fans who have attended at least one home game in the 2023/24 season from 9am on Monday 18 December.

A code will be emailed to you in advance of this time to the email address you have previously purchased tickets with.

Any remaining tickets will go on sale to Yellows email subscribers from Wednesday 27 December at 9am.

As we are aware there are regular fans who don’t buy their tickets online, we will reserve a small allocation of tickets that will be available to purchase via the club shop with cash for fans attending the Banbury United home game on December 23.

Tickets will be priced at the usual online prices:

  • Adult £12
  • Concessions £8
  • Juniors £3

Due to the delays with the ground work required following our promotion to National League North, the segregated area will include temporary toilet and food/drink facilities, and entry will be via the existing turnstiles. We appreciate the understanding of Chester FC and their fans, who will be situated at the 3G end of the ground.

A portion of the seating in the main stand will be sectioned off for away fans. This will not impact on any season ticket holders with reserved seating.

When the planned ground works are completed, there will be a permanent away end in place with seating and terraces, as well as toilet and food/drink facilities.

The match ball sponsor for the game is Maddie & Ava, two young girls who are unfortunately very unwell.

Maddie is from Warrington and has been diagnosed with Nephroblastoma, a stage 4 Wilms tumour, which has metastasized to her lungs with a mediastinal mass. Unfortunately, specialists are not sure whether Maddie will survive this, so we are raising funds to ensure that her and her family can make as many memories as possible during this time whilst helping with the financial impacts this has had on the family.

Ava is from Chester and has glioblastoma tumour. Her family are hoping to raise enough funds to try a new experimental immunotherapy treatment, which can only be done privately, in order to give her the best chance of survival. The family need to raise around £30,000 for this to happen.

A group of fans are walking from Chester’s Leap76 Stadium to the UNIS Compliance Stadium on the day to raise funds for their treatment and support their families. There will be bucket collections at the game also.
