RIP Kevin Read

Warrington Town is saddened to report the passing of club director Kevin Read.
Kev had been involved with the football club since January 2008, having previously played for Greenalls in the Warrington District League for many years (and receiving many red cards!).
He was a regular at home games and was well known around town for his work in the family business, Read Property Associates.
Over the past few years, he had been battling in typically combative fashion with cancer, but sadly lost his fight on Sunday at the age of 62.
Everyone at the club sends their condolences to Kev’s wife Tanya, children Brad and Chelsea, and all of his family and friends.
The funeral will be held at Warrington Crematorium on Friday 24 January at 9:20am (no one to wear black, as per Kev’s preference)
Donations to Christies and family flowers only.
