Warrington Town are back on home soil this Saturday as they welcome Oxford City to the Cal.Delivery Stadium in the National League North.
The Yellows come into this fixture on the back of two positive away performances where they picked up four points which included the recent 2-1 victory at Radcliffe.
Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting with the Hoops, and Paul Carden will be hoping to secure another important three points upon his Yellows homecoming.
Josh Miles and Josh Amis will both be pushing for a starting spot in the squad after the pair made goalscoring contributions in the victory away at Radcliffe last weekend.
Defender Ollie Southern will be available for selection on Saturday having been recently sidelined through injury.
Dana Amaral could feature in the matchday squad for the first time, while Andy White be assessed following an injury that he picked up at the Neuven Stadium.
Warrington Town manager Paul Carden insists that his side must back up their recent string of positive performances by laying a solid foundation on home soil.
The Yellows have had a relatively unsteady start to the 2024/25 season at the Cal.Delivery Stadium, winning their first two against Peterborough Sports and Kidderminster Harriers, before experiencing back-to-back defeats, a draw and an FA Cup loss.
Saturday's clash against Oxford City marks the first of two home games in quick succession, with high-flying Hereford visiting on Tuesday evening.
“Points on the road are important and we’ve taken four, but we’ve got to back it up,” Carden said.
“We need to back these positive results away from home with positive results at home.
“We’ve fought hard in the last two games to pick these points up and now, we need to make sure our home form is what’s going to drive us up the division.
“You take points anywhere but certainly, these two home games are really important for us.”
