Warrington Town lock horns with Southport for the second time in a matter of days on Saturday, with the Yellows travelling to Haig Avenue in the FA Trophy.

A much-changed side fell to a 2-0 home defeat to the Sandgrounders in midweek, but Town will hope for a response when the two meet again.

Captain Josh Amis is being monitored after falling awkwardly on his shoulder during Tuesday night’s Liverpool Senior Cup tie between the two teams.

New signing Elliot Morris is unable to feature, as he is cup-tied having played in the FA Trophy earlier this season for City of Liverpool.

Andy White (ankle) is a longer-term absentee, and Jay Harris (groin) is also expected to miss out.
