Preview: Prescot Cables vs Warrington Town

Warrington Town are back in Northern Premier League action on Tuesday evening as they make the short journey to Prescot Cables.

The Yellows come into this fixture on the back of a 0-0 draw at home to Rushall Olympic last week.

It will be the first competitive meeting with the Cables since October 2018, when the Merseyside-based outfit progressed through to the next round of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 victory at Cantilever Park.

Below, we've compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.

Team news

Bohan Dixon returned to training on Saturday, having sat out the last two matches with a groin complaint.

Jay Harris didn’t train over the weekend due to having treatment for a hamstring strain.

Recent dual-registration addition Max Thompson is having a scan on the knock he picked up early against Rushall, which meant he was unavailable for Chorley’s FA Cup game at the weekend.

David Morgan could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
