Experienced goalkeeper Jamie Jones completes Yellows move

Warrington Town have added experienced goalkeeper Jamie Jones to the squad ahead of the weekend’s trip to FC United of Manchester.

Jones, 36, played in the Football League with Salford City last season, and his former clubs include Leyton Orient, Preston North End, Stevenage, Wigan Athletic and Middlesbrough.

He played more than 150 games in League One for Leyton Orient and, after moving to Preston, also spent time on loan at Rochdale and Colchester United.

During his time at Wigan, he played 15 games in their League One title-winning 2017/18 season.

With Liam Isherwood sidelined through injury, Jones has been brought in following the recall of Luke Hewitson from his loan spell by Fleetwood Town.
