Warrington Town can confirm that defender Hamish Douglas has extended his loan deal with the club from Rotherham United for a further month.
Douglas, 19, has been a virtual ever-present in the Yellows line-up since making his debut in the draw against Chorley at the start of October, going on to make 19 appearances to date.
He has formed a centre-back partnership with 43-year-old veteran Peter Clarke, who shares his experience of more than 900 games as a professional.
The new deal keeps Douglas at the Cal.Delivery Stadium up to and including the home game against Scarborough Athletic on February 25.
Meanwhile, winger Josh Miles has returned to Blackpool following the end of his loan spell.
Miles made 23 appearances for the Yellows, starting with the opening-day defeat at King’s Lynn Town. He scored two goals, in the draw at home to Leamington and the win away at Radcliffe.
Midfielder Jak McCourt has also been recalled from his loan spell by Ashton United. He featured in seven games after making his debut away at Rushall in November.
Everyone at the Yellows wishes Josh and Jak all the best for the future.
