Devarn Green departs

Warrington Town can confirm that Devarn Green has been released to take up an opportunity with Stafford Rangers.

Green, 29, has featured nine times this season mainly off the bench for the Yellows after returning to the club for a third spell, having also featured 11 times at the back end of last season.

He first featured for the club during the 2017/18 season, and departs after making a total of 35 appearances, scoring four goals.

Travelling from Birmingham, Green was made aware of an opportunity to join Stafford, much closer to home, and the Yellows have waived the seven-day notice period to enable him to link up with the NPL West Division side ahead of a cup fixture on Tuesday night.
