Club update ahead of 2024/25 season

We are now just a week away from the start of the 2024/25 season, and it has been a busy summer off the field. Here is an update on what’s going on.

Season launch surprise

Two new signings will be unveiled at the season launch event, which takes place this Wednesday, August 7, at the Village Hotel.

Squad numbers will be revealed on the night, with the two newest signings wearing number 8 and number 18.

Tickets are priced at £10. On the evening, player sponsors will present their chosen player with their new shirt for the season ahead. A reminder that player sponsors get a ticket to attend, and they should have already received this via email.

We still have some players available for sponsorship. The two new signings are also available for sponsorship, so if you want to present them with their new shirts, snap up their sponsorship before the night.

The package includes:

• Your chosen player’s match shirt at the end of the season
• Name in all home match day programmes
• Name read out over tannoy on team announcement each home game (where possible)*
• Name included on social media goal graphic for chosen player
• Invite to season launch event

New club shop

After a couple of delays beyond the club’s control, we are now planning to open the new club shop which is situated at 665 Knutsford Road, WA4 1JJ, next week ahead of the start of the new season.

In stock are the new Capelli home and away shirts, a new range of Capelli teamwear, further leisurewear from 1895 Sports and a new range of accessories and other items, including hats, keyrings and water bottles.

Further items and ranges are planned for the coming weeks. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see in the new club shop, please do get in touch.

The new online shop will go live later today (Friday), enabling you to buy all products online, and you can choose to have these delivered or to collect from the club shop.

Season tickets

We expect to have the first lot of season ticket cards available for collection at the Season Launch event on Wednesday, and after that, they will be available for collection via the club shop, or at the ground on the first home game of the season against Peterborough Sports (August 17).

Anyone who purchases a season ticket ahead of the start of the season (August 10), will receive a free WTFC aluminium water bottle, as supplied by new main club sponsors Novelis. These will be available to pick up with your season ticket card.

Reserved seats in the Main Stand are still available to secure ahead of the new season. If you have purchased a reserved seat, you will be contacted to select your chosen seat, and your reserved seat sticker will be in place in time for the first home game.

Sponsorship

We have welcomed Novelis as the new main club sponsor, Cal.Delivery as the new stadium naming rights sponsor and Capelli as the new official kit and teamwear provider.

There are a number of other sponsorship deals soon to be announced, and we still have a number of sponsorship packages available, including Yellows TV and Yellows Radio advertising, stand naming rights and more.

We also still have limited availability for pitchside board advertising. Prices start from £550+VAT for a pitchside board, so if you want to get your business pitchside ahead of the new season, contact james@warringtontownfc.co.uk for further details and to arrange.

Hospitality and match sponsorship

All of our match hospitality packages in the boardroom sold out by the end of September last season, and we are on course for the same this time round.

The only way to enjoy hospitality – which includes a meal before the game, a private bar, complimentary match programmes and other refreshments – is by taking out a match or match ball sponsorship for our home games.

A match sponsorship entitles you to eight hospitality tickets and is priced at £350+VAT.

A match ball sponsorship is for four hospitality tickets, priced at £200+VAT.

Lottery

A new Warrington Town Lucky Numbers Lottery has been launched, and is being run by Neil Pearson, who has already recruited more than 100 players.

The first draw is due to take place on Tuesday 6 August. You can enter for £5 per month, and you can have as many entries as you wish.
