Warrington Town’s away kit will be worn for the Boxing Day home fixture against Marine, in support of Shelter’s #NoHomeKit campaign.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the scale of homelessness amongst football fans.
#NoHomeKit will also help raise funds to support Shelter’s effort to end the housing emergency and unite the football community in support of those with no safe place to call home.
We ask that supporters wear their away colours on Boxing Day in support of the campaign.
Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless in England.
With the growing cost of living crisis, the situation is set to get much worse, but with your help, Shelter can continue to provide free advice and support to the thousands of people facing homelessness and continue the fight for home.
Together, we can make sure everyone in the UK has access to a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.
Home stadium. Home colours. Home game. The football community knows the importance of home.
But this year, thousands of people will be spending Christmas in dingy hostels, on friends’ sofas, or even sleeping in freezing cars. This is something we can’t ignore.
That is why we’re making a stand.
Clubs and fans up and down the football pyramid are taking part in #NoHomeKit and swapping their home colours for an away or third kit to raise money and show support for those with no safe place to call home.
Whether you’re watching at Cantilever Park or listening to the Yellows Mixlr from your sofa, join the movement fighting to defend the right to a safe, secure and affordable home for everyone.
For our fixture against Marine, get involved by swapping your home colours for an away shirt and text HOME to 70544 to donate £5.
