Warrington Town can confirm that forward Connor Woods has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Southport.
Woods, 24, has been in excellent form during his loan spell, scoring six goals in 12 appearances, but will now return to the National League North side.
He made his Yellows debut in the win at Hebburn Town back in October, and played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s win over South Shields.
His initial one-month loan deal was extended for another month, with a recall option, and was due to expire after this weekend’s home game against Stalybridge Celtic.
Everyone at the club wishes Connor all the best for the future, he is welcome back anytime.
Meanwhile, striker Jordan Buckley is expected to return to full training this week having resumed light duties recently.
Skipper Josh Amis still has two matches to serve on his suspension picked up for a red card against Guiseley last weekend.
