Warrington Town can confirm that midfielder Sean Williams has decided to leave the club this summer.
Williams, 32, made 203 appearances for the Yellows in two separate spells, making his debut in the 2-0 win over Rushall Olympic in November 2016, with his final game ironically coming against the same opponent back in April.
He scored 30 goals for the Yellows, including the club’s first ever goal in the National League North, and was part of the victorious play-off winning team in 2023.
The midfielder’s last goal for the club came in the 1-1 draw against South Shields in January.
In his first spell at Cantilever Park, Williams scored 15 goals in the 2017/18 season in 57 appearances and was a crucial part of the FA Trophy run in that season.
He moved on to Altrincham at the end of that campaign before returning part-way through the 2021/22 season.
After being offered a new deal in line with the rest of the squad, Williams has opted to move on and accept a deal in the Northern Premier League West Division.
Everyone at the club wishes Williams the best for the future.
