Warrington Town to launch new club shop

Warrington Town are excited to announce the launch of a new club shop, which will be situated on Knutsford Road near Latchford Village.

The shop will be open at least five days a week and will give fans the opportunity to purchase replica shirts, other merchandise and tickets from a physical store throughout the week, as well as online.

The new home and away kits, supplied by new partners Capelli, will be on sale in the shop from the opening day, together with a range of other merchandise as we continue to expand the club’s offering.

An opening date for the new shop will be confirmed soon.

James Gordon, media & commercial manager, said: “The demand for replica shirts and other merchandise was such last season that it was a challenge at times to keep up with demand, and also logistically controlling things like managing stock and distributing orders.

“So the decision was made to explore whether a day-to-day physical retail outlet would be worthwhile for the club to help service fan expectations.

“With there being limited options at the ground itself to place a shop that would be accessible and prominent for fans to access on a day-to-day basis, we explored opportunities elsewhere and found a location just half a mile from the ground that also presents us with an opportunity to promote the club and its fixtures on a busy main road.

“It now means that we will operate as a proper retail outlet, rather than just having a club shop that opens on home matchdays only. We also see it becoming a meeting point for fans and a way to engage with each other and the club outside of the traditional matchday experience.

Opening times for the shop will be finalised shortly, expected to be daily from 10am-4pm, with a late night opening likely to be on a Tuesday, and these will be reviewed over the coming months.

A new club website and online shop will also be launched to coincide with the shop opening.

The new kits for the 2024/25 season will be unveiled at a special launch event at Gravity Social in Warrington town centre on Saturday 6 July.
