Warrington Town will help develop the pathway for talented young footballers in the local area after announcing an exciting partnership with Priestley College.
The move will help provide further opportunities for aspiring athletes based in the north-west as they look to develop a route into sport.
Sport Priestley enjoys consistent success in football, most recently becoming county champions and national AoC Cup finalists in 2019, as well as league champions in 2020, when they were unbeaten. They are also currently top of their division.

Each year, members of the team receive prestigious scholarship offers to join universities in America, while others pursue sport-related careers such as coaching and physiotherapy.
Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac said: “Given the proximity of ourselves and Priestley College, this is a partnership with significant potential.
“We look forward to working closely with their football academy to provide an appropriate pathway for exciting young footballers.

“I’m sure there will be many further opportunities for the two organisations to work together as we continue to develop operations throughout the football club.”
Priestley College head of football Dan Jordan said: “This partnership with Warrington Town makes sense as we attract some of the most talented young footballers in the area to the college.
“Warrington Town is the most well-established local club and Priestley is the strongest football academy, so hopefully this will be a long-lasting partnership that will have many benefits for young footballers in the area.”
