Warrington Town begin their Cheshire Senior Cup journey this evening as they welcome Tranmere Rovers to the Cal.Delivery Stadium.
The Yellows ended a disappointing run of seven games without a victory in all competitions, following their 2-0 win over Guiseley in the Northern Premier League last Saturday.
Now, Paul Carden's side prepares for a different challenge in the form of League Two side Tranmere Rovers, who return to WA4 for the first time since January 2017 when Town progressed through to the next round of the Cheshire Senior Cup with a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Scott Metcalfe and John Shaw.
Below, we've compiled everything you need to know ahead of tonight's fixture.
A number of first team players are expected to feature in a strong lineup this evening.
There were no fresh injury concerns for Paul Carden following the victory at the weekend.
Warrington Town manager Paul Carden insists that his side must use Saturday's victory as a springboard for the season ahead.
The Yellows have endured a difficult campaign thus far, winning just one game all season, prior to the weekend.
Liam Brazier and Reece Daly secured their side an important three points with a 2-0 victory over Guiseley, and Carden states that they must carry that performance forward into a period which will see them play nine fixtures in the space of a month.
"I felt we totally deserved that [victory against Guiseley]," Carden said.
"It's obviously been a long time coming. I hope that it's the start of getting back to where we should be heading.
"It was the type of performance that we should be seeing more consistently.
"We've got to build on it. We've done nothing - we've won two games, so we've got to make sure that we win more."
Tonight's Cheshire Senior Cup fixture at the Cal.Delivery Stadium kicks off at 7:45pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Season tickets are not valid for this fixture and tickets must be bought separately, either online or at the turnstiles on matchday.
