Warrington Town are back in action at home for the second time in quick succession on Tuesday night, with Lancaster City the latest team to visit Cantilever Park.
The Dolly Blues arrive having seen their five-game unbeaten run in the Northern Premier League come to an end away at league leaders South Shields last weekend.
Mark Fell’s side will also be keen to avenge the most recent meeting between the sides, with the Yellows claiming a battling 1-0 win at the Giant Axe back in October.
The Yellows have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday’s fixture.
Midfielder Jay Harris will be available, as the ban he incurred following his sending-off for two yellow cards last weekend will not take effect until Saturday’s trip to Matlock Town.
Yellows boss Mark Beesley admits his players can expect a tough midweek test.
Town will look to extend their unbeaten run to 11 matches, but it won’t be an easy task against a resurgent Lancaster side that have produced dogged performances belying their current position in the league table over the last month.
“It’ll be a tough battle. They’ve had a really good run and they’re always tough to play against,” Beesley admitted.
“They have a really good shape and work hard for each other, so we’ve got to be ready for that.”
