On Saturday, Warrington Town welcome Guiseley to Cantilever Park for the second time this season.
The two sides previously met in the FA Trophy, with the Lions inflicting a 1-0 defeat upon the Yellows.
Since that game, Mark Beesley’s side have gone on a 12-game unbeaten run, winning five and drawing seven to leave themselves third in the Northern Premier League table.
Having ran out 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture at Nethermoor, Town will be keen to complete a league double against the Yorkshiremen and strengthen their play-off position.
The Yellows remain without Jay Harris, who serves the final game of his suspension.
Andy White could be available following an ankle injury, while captain Josh Amis will be assessed after leaving the field with a back spasm last weekend.
Luke Duffy was struggling with sickness on Saturday but could return to the starting XI, and new arrivals Tom Warren and Alex McNally will also be trying to force their way into contention.
Manager Mark Beesley is excited to see his players try to extend their recent run of form on home soil against tough opposition.
The last time the Yellows tasted defeat at Cantilever Park came against Guiseley back in mid-November.
Previewing the fixture, he said: “Of course you [want to avenge that loss], but we’ve just got to keep concentrating on what we’ve been doing well and things we need to improve upon.
“With things like set-pieces, we’ll need to be on our game.
“Being on our pitch, we’ll be able to get the ball down a little bit better than we could today. It’s a difficult pitch, so it’s something to look forward to.”
Warrington Town will be out for revenge when Guiseley visit Cantilever Park this weekend, says midfielder Stefan Mols.
They will face a Lions side currently three points adrift of the play-off places.
“Whenever you lose a game, you’re always looking forward to the next game against them to put things right, and this Saturday is no exception to that,” Mols said.
“It’s always great to play at home and I’m sure all the lads will agree.
“Especially with the atmosphere and support that we get from the fans, it’s nice to repay them with a good performance and three points at home.”
