Warrington Town are back in action for the second time in four days, as they make the long trip to face Morpeth Town on Tuesday night.
The Yellows will come into the game hoping to extend their 17-match unbeaten run following Saturday’s comeback victory against Liversedge.
Mark Beesley’s side would go second in the Northern Premier League table with victory, as they play the first of their games in hand.
They face a Morpeth side unbeaten in their last two games following Saturday’s goalless draw against Stafford Rangers.
Warrington won the reverse fixture 2-0 back in August, and having also knocked the Highwaymen out of this season’s FA Cup, they will be hoping for a similar result under the Craik Park lights.
Team news
Josh Amis and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts will be hoping to start after coming off the bench to score the Yellows’ second and third goals last weekend.
Left-back Andy White could also be in line to make his first start since February 4.
Warrington Town manager Mark Beesley says his players must be ready to cope with their gruelling upcoming schedule.
Tuesday’s trip to Morpeth will be the second of six games in 16 days, after a period where the Yellows were without a game for three weeks following consecutive postponements.
“Other teams have done it, we’ve done it, so we’ve just got to be ready for each game,” he said.
“We’ll have to be mindful – we’ll have to use players, we’ll have to rest players. Everyone can’t play 90 minutes every time.
“It gives us the option to rotate. We’ve just got to do what’s in front of us.”
Tuesday’s Northern Premier League fixture at Craik Park kicks off at 7:45pm.
