Having seen Saturday’s home game against Tamworth fall foul of the freezing nationwide temperatures, Warrington Town return to National League North action with a long trip to Hereford on Tuesday night.
The Yellows enter the latest midweek round of fixtures 16th, but such is the congested nature of the league table, victory would take them back into the top half.
It will be the fourth successive away game for Mark Beesley’s side, and with Hereford winning seven of their 10 home league games at Edgar Street this season – despite a 5-1 defeat to Scunthorpe United on Saturday – a tough challenge surely beckons.
Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.
The Yellows are expected to welcome back Andre Wisdom following a recent hamstring injury, while midfielder Jay Harris could be in-line for further minutes after making his comeback from a long-term groin complaint in the Cheshire Senior Cup last week.
New loan signing Josh Popoola could also be in-line for his debut after joining from Stockport County on Friday.
Mitch Duggan serves a one-game suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Scunthorpe United in the previous league outing, and Peter Clarke (shoulder) is also doubtful.
Matty McDonald (knee) and Evan Gumbs (hernia) remain out.
Tuesday’s National League North fixture at Edgar Street kicks off at 7:45pm. Match tickets, available to buy online or at the matchday ticket office from 6:15pm onwards, are priced as follows:
