Lincolnshire awaits for Warrington Town this weekend, with a trip to Gainsborough Trinity next up in the Northern Premier League.
The Yellows start the weekend second in the table following an impressive 4-0 victory at Morpeth Town in midweek.
Now a pivotal few days lies in store for Mark Beesley’s side, as Saturday is the first of consecutive matches against the Yellows’ direct play-off rivals.
Trinity are fifth in the league table, three points behind the Yellows, but the division’s top scorers know that a win would see them go above Town.
Team news
With Yellows boss Mark Beesley hinting at the importance of rotation, the likes of Andy White, Jay Harris and Jordan Buckley will be pushing for returns to the starting XI.
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts, a scorer during last week’s 3-1 win at home to Liversedge, is also in contention.
Midfielder Sean Williams will not feature, however, as he serves the final game of a three-match suspension.
Warrington Town manager Mark Beesley believes that preparation is crucial as his side look to extend their club-record unbeaten run.
Tuesday’s win at Craik Park means the Yellows have not tasted defeat since their FA Trophy exit at the hands of Guiseley on November 19.
“From our point of view, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing and concentrating on ourselves,” Beesley told the Warrington Guardian.
“We’ll focus on how we do things, make sure everything’s right and that the lads are fully prepared for each game.
“We’ve got some really tough games coming up and we’ve got to be ready. We’ll look at each game as it comes and take it from there.”
Saturday’s Northern Premier League fixture at the Northolme kicks off at 3:00pm.
