Warrington Town face two games in the space of three days this weekend, as part of the Easter bank holiday.
The action starts with a game at home to Ashton United on Saturday, before The Yellows travel to Marine on Easter Monday.
Mark Beesley’s side are still on their club-record unbeaten run – which was extended to 20 games in midweek after the win over Radcliffe.
Town lost the reverse fixture against Ashton back in August, while they drew 0-0 at home to Marine on Boxing Day.
The Yellows could guarantee their spot in the play-offs if results go their way.
Mitch Duggan will be assessed after missing Tuesday’s victory through injury. Jordan Buckley is also carrying a slight knock, and is touch-and-go.
Meanwhile, Tom Warren is set to return to the side, after missing Tuesday’s game due to personal reasons.
Warrington Town manager Mark Beesley says his side needs to be ready ahead of both their games over the Easter weekend.
The Yellows face two games in four days, as the season heads for its climax.
Beesley intends to use the squad to ease the pressure over the coming days.
“We’ve got to use the squad because it’s a really tough schedule – play Saturday, then Monday,” he said.
“[Ashton United] are dangerous because they have the freedom to play and express themselves.
“They’re the hardest teams to play at this stage of the season, in my opinion, so we’ve got to be on our mettle because if we switch off and celebrate Tuesday’s win, we’ll get beat on Saturday and we can’t afford that.”
Warrington Town midfielder Tom Hannigan is hopeful The Yellows can get two positive results over the weekend.
Town have been unbeaten since November, and two more positive results could see them seal their place in the play-offs.
Hannigan says The Yellows can not afford to ease off the pressure.
“The two games bring their own challenges,” he said.
“It’ll be nice to get back on our home pitch after a few away games but Ashton are in a good run of form themselves at the moment so there’s no stepping off the gas.
“And then the quick turnaround for the Marine game on 4G. I’m sure the squad will be used to its full capacity over the weekend.
“We’re hoping for two positive results and see where we are come Monday evening.”
