Warrington Town travel to Cammell Laird on Tuesday night as attention turns to the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Having suffered a fourth defeat in five at the weekend - kept scoreless in all of those games - and exited the FA Trophy at the hands of Southport, Paul Carden will want his players to step up and put in a much-improved display as they look to address their recent struggles.
The two met in the Cheshire Senior Cup last year, with Town advancing to the next round with a 2-1 win.
Below, we've compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.
Many of the club's younger players are expected to be given a chance on Tuesday night, although some first team players will still feature.
Midfielder Sam Gill, who has spent time on dual-registration at NPL West Division side Trafford in recent weeks but was named in the Yellows' matchday squad on Saturday, is one of those expected to be handed an opportunity.
An 18-man squad will travel to the Wirral, including Joe Rodwell-Grant, Ollie Southern, Mikey O'Neill, Josh Miles and Dana Amaral, while Harry Roper is likely to be handed his debut in goal.
Andy White (ankle) and Jay Harris (groin) remain sidelined, while captain Josh Amis (shoulder) won't be risked.
Warrington Town manager Paul Carden believes the club's latest midweek cup game will be a good opportunity for younger players to stake their claim to feature more regularly.
And with the club struggling for goals and results, the Yellows boss admits Tuesday's trip to Kirklands will enable him to rest some of his regular starters and hold others in reserve, with important league games to come.
"We haven't got enough players in terms of first team availability," he said.
"There might be a few who need to play, but there'll be a lot of the younger lads featuring which will be good for them.
"It'll be good for me to see [them play]. That's what the approach will be in that game."
