Manager Mark Beesley will likely rotate his squad to maintain freshness over the bank holiday weekend.

Having made their first appearances from the bench during last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Chorley, Dylan Mottley-Henry and Arran Pettifer will be pushing to be handed their full debuts.

Matty McDonald, Andy White and Jordan Buckley are all hopeful of returns from injury, while Josh Amis (knee) and Jay Harris (groin) remain longer-term absentees.

Midfielder Bohan Dixon remains out as he continues to serve his three-match suspension.

Mark Beesley admits his small squad will need to deal with the challenges thrown their way this weekend.

The Yellows remain without a number of key figures through injury and suspension, but Beesley is confident that his squad have what it takes to maintain their promising start to the National League North season.

“I think it’s really difficult for clubs like us with small squads, that we can’t rotate much,” he said.

“It is what it is, and we can’t change that. We just have to focus on Saturday’s game, see what happens after that and take Monday when we get to that stage.”

Warrington Town forward Matty Grivosti insists the squad has what it takes to deal with this weekend’s August bank holiday double-header.

Mark Beesley’s squad will look to extend their promising start to the season, having picked up three wins from their opening four games.

Despite being limited in numbers, partly due to the club’s recent spate of injuries, Grivosti is confident that they can pick up where they left off at Chorley and continue to grow confidence-wise.

“The short turnaround on the bank holiday is tough, but the lads are professional,” he said.

“We do everything we can to be ready for games in terms of recovery and preparation, so it’s especially important for the bank holiday games coming up.

“We know we have a small squad, but it’s a strong squad and every player has quality, so we know that whatever 11 is on the pitch at anytime, we will be good enough to win games.”
