Warrington Town forward Josh Miles and defender Hamish Douglas have seen their respective loan deals extended until January.
Miles joined the club from Football League side Blackpool on an initial three-month loan ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season.
Having impressed in pre-season - including scoring a hat-trick on his home debut against Oldham Athletic in a friendly - he has gone on to make 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.
Douglas, meanwhile, arrived at the Cal.Delivery Stadium at the start of October.
The young Rotherham United centre-back has gone on to feature six times in the league, establishing himself in the heart of the Yellows’ defence.
Both players will now remain at the club until after the festive period, and we thank Blackpool and Rotherham for their cooperation in facilitating an extension of these loans.
Speaking after Saturday’s defeat to South Shields, manager Paul Carden said: “I thought they were our two best players today.
“Hamish seems to be getting better and better, and his performances have been strong for us.
“[Today], Milesy worked really hard again and put a shift in.
“He was playing in an unfamiliar position again because we changed the shape again, but they're two good young lads [who want to learn].”
