First pre-season friendly confirmed

Warrington Town’s first home game of pre-season ahead of the 2025/26 campaign will be against National League side Altrincham on Saturday 12 July (3pm).

The Robins finished ninth in the National League last season and have enjoyed significant progress on and off the field since winning the Northern Premier League back in 2017/18, in a season where the Yellows were their main title rivals until they pulled clear in the spring.

Now a full-time outfit, they will enter their sixth successive season in the top flight of non-league in 2025/26, while for the Yellows it will be a first chance to see Paul Carden’s new-look side at home, with a number of trialists expected to feature.

In the 2017/18 season, the two sides also met in the FA Trophy, with the Yellows prevailing with a 2-1 win at Moss Lane in what was a lengthy run in the competition, bowing out in the last 16 after playing 10 games.

The game at the Cal.Delivery Stadium will kick-off at 3pm.

Tickets will be priced £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £2 for Under 16s.
