Warrington Town have signed exciting youngster Paddy Kay ahead of the new National League North season.
Kay, 18, is part of the Fowler Academy, where Yellows boss Mark Beesley has kept an eye on his development.
Beesley said: “He’s done great in pre-season. He’s been training with us now for six to nine months.

“It’s not been a surprise how well he has done. I work with him every day, and I can see his development. He’s getting better and better and he’s doing a lot of learning along the way.
“We think he’s got great potential and we’ve talked about looking after the future of the club – well, he’s the future of the club.”
Kay will be allowed to go out on loan to Northern Premier League side Nantwich Town in the early part of the season to continue his progress. The new NPL season starts on Saturday 12 August.
Beesley added: “We got him some football at AFC Liverpool last season. We think the next step is that he goes out on loan to a better team and we’ve found that in Nantwich.
“We’ve only got a small squad and there’s a chance he may feature against Southport, but otherwise we’ll see how it goes with Paul [Carden] at Nantwich.”
The signing of Kay follows on from the announcement of Football League veteran Peter Clarke’s arrival on Friday.
