Second half goals from Eddie Clarke and Jay Harris made it a double-winning Easter weekend for Mark Beesley’s side.
They now need just a point away at Matlock Town next week to secure their play-off berth.
The defeat means Witton are relegated from the NPL Premier Division.
Goalkeeper Dan Atherton was the hero of the first half, saving a penalty from Callum Saunders to keep the score goalless at half time.
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was introduced at half time but it took a thunderbolt by Clarke to break the deadlock on the hour, driving inside from the left and beating Greg Hall.
Clarke turned provider for the second goal 11 minutes from time, overlapping on the left and his cross was headed home by Harris.
The Yellows travel to Matlock having won four in a row away from home, without conceding a goal.
A third placed finish would see them at home in the play-offs next Tuesday, April 26.
