Bohan Dixon: “We need a reaction”

Bohan Dixon says the team will need a reaction this weekend as Paul Carden’s side face South Shields in the Pitching In Northern Premier League.

The Yellows were recently knocked out of the FA Cup with a 3-0 defeat away to Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division side Marine, and will look to bounce back this weekend in the Premier Division with a trip to the 1st Cloud Arena to face South Shields.

Graham Fenton’s side currently sit top of the Premier Division table and remain unbeaten so far in the 2021/22 season with seven wins and two draws, while the Yellows sit sixth.

Dixon missed out on the FA Cup defeat, but will return this weekend with the trip to the North East.

“The FA Cup is a good opportunity for any non-league club to have a cup run, but unfortunately I wasn’t available to help the team but we look forward towards a solid South Shields now and move on,” said Dixon.

“We need a reaction and we always look forward to the tougher games to test ourselves and it’s always been an entertaining fixture for sure.

“We need to work hard, work together and stick to our game plan.”

Warrington Town return to Cantilever Park on Tuesday, September 28, to face Basford United. Tickets are available online.
