Mark Beesley has made two further additions to the Warrington Town squad.
Attacking midfielder Aaron Bennett has joined following his release from EFL club Preston North End, and he was in the matchday squad for the National League North season opener at Southport last weekend.
Bennett, 19, is a Wales youth international and made 18 appearances in the National League last season during a loan spell at Altrincham.
He can play in a variety of positions in the attacking third of the pitch.
Manager Beesley said: “Aaron Bennett is a quality player. He adds a bit of skill, trickery in the final third and something that we’ve been looking for.
“We’ve monitored him for a while at Preston and with him leaving there this summer it was something we tried to do. He has been on trial at numerous Football League clubs, so it was late in the summer that we could get him.
“We’re made up we’ve got him, he’ll offer us that ability in the final third to unlock defences and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Meanwhile, young defender Lewis Sinnott has joined the club and will be loaned out to a Northern Premier League club, in a similar way to the recent deal for fellow youngster Paddy Kay.
Sinnott, 21, featured for the Yellows in pre-season, as he did last summer, and he further developed last season playing for Litherland REMYCA.
The left-sided defender is one of a group of young players Beesley has earmarked as the future of the club.
He said: “Lewis is one of the younger lads who we’ve kept an eye on, we think he’s got potential.
“We spoke about safeguarding the future of the club, and hopefully we’ll loan him out somewhere and get him some games.

“He’s got a good left foot, he’s a good defender and organiser, and it’s important we can keep eye on the future.”
Another young defender, Alex McNally, has joined Prescot Cables on dual-registration ahead of the start of the Northern Premier League season this weekend.
McNally linked up with the Yellows in February and has featured throughout pre-season.
Lewis Sinnott will be sponsored by BTG Contractors for the 2023/24 season.
