Winger Tunde Bayode joins ahead of Leek Town clash

Warrington Town have signed winger Tunde Bayode ahead of tonight’s clash away at Leek Town.

Bayode, 27, has been training with the club throughout pre-season, and featured in a couple of friendlies as a trialist.

Comfortable on both flanks, the pacy wideman last played in the Northern Irish Premiership for Larne FC, having previously been in Gibraltar with Bruno’s Magpies, where he won the domestic cup and featured in the UEFA Conference League.

He began his career at Burnley, and had short-term spells with Curzon Ashton, Bamber Bridge and Colne.

With Joe Rodwell-Grant sidelined through injury, Bayode adds competition for places in the wide areas.

Meanwhile, defender Jayden Lloyd has been allowed to join his brother Kieran at Llandudno FC in the Welsh Premier League.
