Two unbeaten starts will go on the line as Warrington Town host Cleethorpes Town at Cantilever Park on Saturday for more Northern Premier League action.
The Yellows will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the 2026/27 season, after back-to-back wins in their two outings against Guiseley and, most recently, Hyde United, with Scott Butler, Reece Daly and new signing Zayn Sadiq netting in a 3-0 victory over the Tigers on Tuesday night.
On the other hand, Cleethorpes Town will be keen to extend their own strong start. The Owls currently sit at the summit of the table with two wins from their opening matches, which included a dominant 5-0 win over Quorn in midweek.

Warrington Town manager Paul Carden has praised his side for the character they showed in their 3-0 victory over Hyde United on Tuesday.
The Yellows boss tasked his side to back up their opening day win over Guiseley with a strong performance in their first home game of the league campaign, and despite a relatively scrappy first-half performance, Warrington regrouped after the break and produced a second-half display well worthy of another three points.
And while he says that there is plenty of room for improvement, Carden believes that his side can face the challenges Cleethorpes Town will pose head on as they look to make it three consecutive league wins on the bounce.
"We needed to follow up our win on the opening day with another big performance on Tuesday night, and even thought we got the three points against Hyde United, I know there's still plenty of room for improvement.
"We started well for the first 10 minutes or so, but then we started being scrappy with the ball and encouraged Hyde to have some possession and territory.
"The half-chances that they created came from us being architects of our own downfall, and we did have spells in the first half which I wasn't happy about.
"There wasn't really a lot in the game at that point, but then in the second half, we came out, and we were right at it.
"We stifled everything they had and looked really threatening on the break.
"On five or six occasions going forward, it looked like something was going to happen.
"There was a sense of frustration from the lads at how they performed in the first half, and as a manager that's a positive sign because you know they care, and they want to be the best version of themselves.
"The games don't get any easier, and we know that facing a Cleethorpes side that have won both of their opening games will present new challenges, but as a group we're confident of putting in what is required to get the result we want."

Striker Ewan Bange could be sidelined for up to a month with the hamstring injury that forced him off during Tuesday’s win over Hyde.
Joe Rodwell-Grant, who pulled out of that match in the warm-up, is also out with a hamstring issue.
It could mean more opportunities for two players from the club’s youth system, Harris McIntosh and Reuben Denton, who made his first-team debut against Hyde.
