Postponed: Gainsborough Trinity (H)

Tuesday night's home league game against Gainsborough Trinity has been postponed.

Both the Yellows and Gainsborough were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the weekend on penalties. Subsequently, their respective league games on October 24 have been postponed due to the progress of their scheduled opponents (Bury and Leek respectively), who will now play in the next round of the FA Trophy on that date.

The Yellows and Gainsborough have therefore agreed to move from Tuesday night to the free Saturday, which has now been ratified by the Northern Premier League.

That means the Warrington Town vs Gainsborough Trinity game will now be played on Saturday 24 October (3pm kick-off).

The Yellows' previously scheduled home game against Bury, postponed due to the Shakers' progress in the FA Trophy, will be rearranged for a later date.

Our next game will now be this Saturday, October 3, away to Marine in the FA Cup third qualifying round.
