Craig Noone to leave club

Craig Noone is to depart as Warrington Town’s assistant manager, after an approach from a club in the National League North.

The 38-year-old has been a key part of Paul Carden’s backroom staff for the past two years and the former Premier League player even made four appearances in a Yellows shirt in the 2024/25 season.

A popular figure in the dressing room, Noone rolled back the years in pre-season on the pitch to the delight of the fans, but his main focus has been on coaching, leading training sessions and the analysis work that has helped the squad start this season well.

He will leave the club to take up an opportunity at Southport after this weekend's FA Cup tie away at Marine.

Everyone at the Yellows would like to thank Craig for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
